Makati Business Club (MBC), which groups some of the country?s Bilyonaryos, cited the Duterte government?s tone of no tolerance for corruption.

On the occasion of President Duterte?s first 100 days in office, MBC?s executive director Peter Angelo V. Perfecto cited the government?s commitment of no tolerance for corruption and a bias for facilitating frontline government services for the people.

MBC, which members include the Ayala Corp. and Phinma Corp., also noted of Duterte?s strong push to address ease of doing business.

?MBC remains committed to working with the new administration through the Open Government Partnership commitments of the Philippines including the Integrity Initiative and the PBG-JFC high level dialogue with the cabinet,? MBC said.

Perfecto, however, said he personally believes that 100 days is too short to evaluate any administration especially since the key areas for action and reform include institutions, infrastructure and inclusive growth.
