Budget carrier Cebu Pacific will mount more flights from the Clark International Airport to boost the accessibility of Central and Northern Luzon to both foreign and local tourists.
Beginning Dec. 16, the airline unit of Bilyonaryo John Gokongwei, will increase its Clark-Cebu-Clark flights to six times weekly while Clark-Hong Kong-Clark flights will be up from seven to 10 times weekly. This will increase Cebu Pacific?s Clark operations to a total of 27 weekly flights.
“By adding more flights between Clark and Hong Kong, Cebu Pacific hopes to further stimulate economic trade and investments from one of Asia?s largest financial hubs to North and Central Luzon. On the other hand, increased flights from Clark to the Philippines? second largest city, Cebu, will boost domestic tourism opportunities,” the airline said.
Cebu Pacific offers flights to to 36 domestic and 30 international destinations, covering an extensive network that spans Asia, Australia, and the Middle East. Its 57-strong fleet is comprised of seven Airbus A319, 36 A320s, six A330s, and eight ATR 72-500 aircraft.
Between 2016 and 2021, the airline expects delivery of 32 Airbus A321neo, two A330s, and 16 ATR 72-600s.
