Bilyonaryo Andrew Tan is expected to submit more entries to the 5TH Philippines Property Awards.
Terry Blackburn, founder and managing director of Asia Property Awards, said they expect the owner of Megaworld Corporation, the Philippines leading real estate developer, to submit more project developments in the competition slated in May 2017.
In 2016, Megaworld collected a record-breaking 16 awards and Highly Commended honors, including the Best Developer (Philippines) Award.
The 5th Philippine Property Awards has a total of 28 award categories, two of which are new. These are the Best BPO Office and Best Mixed-Use Development Awards.
Blackburn said that continued growth in the IT-BPM industry has led many property developers to compete in office buildings specifically designed for this kind of operation, thereby creating a new niche market in property developments in the Philippines.
According to Blackburn the noticeable increase in BPO office building entries in the competition has prompted them to decide to create a special category to recognize the best BPO office development.
