The stock market took a breather yesterday after a two-day rally as investors opted to adopt a wait and see stance amid a two-day meeting of the Federal Reserve.
The benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index retreated 82.87 points, or 1.16 percent, to close at 7,065.39, while the broader All Shares index declined by 34.75 points or 0.84 percent to end at 4,089.25.
Analysts said concerns on the US Fed?s two-day meeting which started on Tuesday and global economic growth snapped the PSEi?s two-day rally.
